Chapter 9. Resources for practitioners
Abstract
In the final chapter, lessons drawn from the preceding
chapters are summarised in the form of resources for
practitioners.
Publicly accessible video platforms are listed.
Organisational conditions favouring peer coaching
with video are specified, minimum requirements for
guarding privacy are formulated and features to
include in structured viewing guides are listed. Then
follows a do-it-yourself guide for teachers who want to
engage in peer coaching with video. For the purpose
of video production, the clip features promoting Visual
Teacher Learning are summarised. Guidelines are
presented for making collaborative lesson analysis
constructive as well as for selecting, producing and
using instructional video clips. The chapter concludes
with a series of steps to take during pupil consultation.
